If you live at SoLé Mia in North Miami and are looking for your next great meal, you're in for a treat. Yes, there's more to our community than the 7-acre tropical lagoon and resort-style amenities (though those are pretty awesome); we’re right in the heart of one of Miami's best food neighborhoods. Whether you want something fresh for breakfast, a healthy lunch, or a proper dinner that feels a little more put together, this area has a nice mix.

Here are some of the nearby restaurants on Biscayne Blvd you need to know about.

Sesame Bakery

Sesame Bakery in North Miami is your go-to spot for a quick morning bite before work, a fast lunch, or a treat when you want something sweet. It's right next door to your apartment in SoLé Mia, so you can easily visit without needing a car or even leaving the community. You'll find plenty of options, from bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and salads to soups and a full breakfast menu. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll also come to love their well-baked cinnamon bun, berries & cream croissant, pistachio cube, and bagels. And when you want to take a trip to Italy without a passport, just order their rigatoni al arak or focaccia square pizza, close your eyes, and you're right there!

Pura Vida

If you're looking for another cafe with a fresh menu with lots of options close to home, Pura Vida is inside Reserve Padel, right next to one of our SoLé Mia buildings. That means you are just a few minutes away from a well-prepared meal. You can grab your favorite plate from the all-day breakfast menu or go for the Sunset Steak Bowl or grass-fed steak plate when you want a real meal with protein and flavor. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, they have wraps, cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, and fresh salads, so you are never out of options. They also have a kids' menu, which makes family dinners way easier.

Here is the best part: every meal is tracked. You get the exact fiber, protein, and macro breakdown based on SFL nutritionals. A big plus if you are tracking your fitness, trying to eat cleaner, or just want to know exactly what you’re putting inside your body.

Cotoa

Cotoa is the restaurant you save for when you want something a little more special. It earned a Michelin Star in 2025, becoming the first Ecuadorian restaurant in the U.S. to receive this honor. Chef Alejandra Espinoza runs the kitchen, and she serves up Ecuadorian cuisine that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. You'll want to try the humita with palo santo butter. And for dessert, the Cotopaxi-inspired chocolate lava cake is an all-time customer favorite. It's an intimate space with incredible flavors and a vibe that's both sophisticated and welcoming, so book ahead. This is your spot for date night, anniversaries, or just treating yourself when you've had a good week.

Lo De Lea

When you're craving a really good steak, Lo De Lea is where you go. It's a family-owned Argentine grill right on Biscayne Boulevard, about a 10 minute drive from SoLé Mia. They make everything from scratch, the sauces, the bread, everything.

The grilled steaks are the main event, but honestly, you could just come for the sides and be happy. They have happy hour every day from 3–7 p.m., and you can get ribeye steak with mashed potatoes at a price that makes the visit an easy “yes”. Plus, their menu includes everything from empanadas to parrilladas for sharing, so you'll never run out of things to try and reasons to go back. It's casual enough to just walk in after work, but nice enough to take that special someone.

Sagra Pizza Bar

Pizza lovers, gather 'round. Sagra serves Roman-style pizza, which means thin crust that’s cooked in a wood-fired oven at 700 degrees for just 2-3 minutes. The crust is what sets them apart: it's crispy, light, and just right.

They do grilled meats and seafood too, so you're not stuck with just pizza if that's not your thing. But let’s be honest, you'll probably end up ordering pizza. The outdoor patio is perfect for those warm North Miami evenings when you want to sit outside and enjoy your food. This is the place for casual dinners, hanging with friends, or grabbing a quick slice when you're in the mood.
